WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 Preview
09:08 | by Evan
In the months since the game was announced at Wrestlemania 22, we've watched WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 go from a quickie demo and some amazing next-gen screens to a lot of other things. Along the way, we've seen how great the 360 version's visuals look. We've seen the game go from launching on both PS3 and 360 to being toned down to just Microsoft's console, although judging by our traffic, a lot of readers are still inexplicably reading about the cancelled PS3 game. We've finally gotten to see how the PS2 and PSP versions of the game have fared. After getting our hands on a near-final build of the game, we're confident that SvR 07 will be both a promising debut for the series in next-gen and a great (possibly) final bow for the franchise on PS2. Check out the complete preview

Andrew Flintoff Cover-Boy for Cricket 07
07:19 | by Evan
Electronic Arts today announced the return of England cricket hero Andrew ‘Freddie’ Flintoff to the front of pack for the forthcoming EA SPORTS Cricket 07. Utilising the groundbreaking EA SPORTS Century Stick control system, players can enjoy full batting control over foot choice, shot, direction, power and timing, all governed through the use of both analogue sticks.
“It’s great to return for the second year working with EA SPORTS. Their previous games have been a good source of entertainment and relaxation for myself and the team when on tour, and I’m sure the competition will be just as fierce this time round between the lads as we look to retain the Ashes on the Cricket 07 game, as well as looking to do it for real out in Australia.” said Flintoff.

“We are delighted to work with Andrew Flintoff for a second consecutive year,” said Justin Forrest, producer, EA Canada. “Not only is he a world class cricketer, he’s also a big video games player making him a fabulous ambassador for our game.”.

EA SPORTS Cricket 07 will be released worldwide to coincide with the start of the Ashes series for the PlayStation 2 and PC in early November.
