2 months - The Steam Controller is real and it's here! Valve was gracious enough to send over their new and improved Steam Controller to go hands-on before it releases to the wild. We take it out of its relatively simple packaging to and put it to the test in several games, how it functions with Steam Big Picture Mode, and more.

2 months - The Steam Controller is excellent for both casual PC gamers and custom control enthusiasts. It offers high-end features, like TMR thumbsticks, HD haptics, and its unique dual touchpads, at a price closer to the base console controllers than its premium competitors. After two weeks of testing, it's the new PC gaming controller to beat.

7 months, 2 weeks - Roughly 10 years since the first Steam Controller, the uniquely impressive but ultimately unpopular controller that launched alongside Valve's first Steam Machine initiative, the company is back with a new version. We visited Valve and went hands-on with the new PC controller to see if they got it right this time. (Spoiler alert: They did.)
