This Los Angeles-based group of misfits is comprised of super-powered youth who's parents also have powers. In the early going, the Runaways turned on their own parents, who were super-human criminals and managed to free Los Angeles of their influence. Unfortunately, this has created a power vacuum in LA, leading to an influx of villains seeking control.
