IGN editor Matt Casamassina even made a post in his blog in January claiming that he's played it before. Well, now he's put up some videos of Halo DS in action and it looks pretty good!
Unfortunately, he claims that "the game will never see the light of day" though it was once in development by a big name studio and publisher. Thanks to HBO for the heads up.

Bungie doesn't reveal the location of the skulls, but does provide a chart on the effect and point multiplier of each skull.

Their proof of this is a poorly written email from a friend of a friend that works at Bungie. The rumor seemed totally bogus and unworthy of any attention.
But now, Teamxbox is reporting that they have sources that told them there is some kind of complex issue going down between Microsoft and Bungie that could possibly result in the splitting of the two companies. Teamxbox also claims that there will be an official announcement on this issue sometime this week.

SPOILER WARNING: If you have yet to beat the 8th level of the game (like me), you might not want to read the article, because it contains some pretty big spoilers.

Not only are they cool Easter Eggs to find, but you can turn them on to increase your Campaign Score. Halo 3 Makes $170 Million in First Day in U.S.[ 1 Comment ] 23:28 PST | mrtitan | Print News | Category: Halo: 3Microsoft has announced that Halo 3 has become the biggest entertainment launch in history, making $170 million in sales in the United States alone in the first 24 hours. Although we are still waiting for an official response from Microsoft, the software giant has updated the page of the Xbox Disc Replacement Program noting that the program will also cover the Halo 3 Limited Edition Game Disc and Essentials Disc at no charge through 12/31/07.
Hopefully Microsoft or Bungie will soon release an official statement on the subject.
