You Have to Love The Vestibule
This doesn't need any context as I originally saw it on The Vestibule without any.
What is Wrong With Everybody?
The box office numbers are in and Epic Movie drummed up $19.2 million to make it the highest grossing film of the weekend.
Who is going to see these movies? Whoever you are, stop it! Every time one of these stupid spoof movies turns a profit it means that six months down the road I'll have to endure several more weeks of the worst commercials of all time hyping up the next piece of garbage movie.
The only good side to these dumb paraodies is that the reviews are always hilarious. Take James Berardinelli's where he points out that, "The Samuel L. Jackson representative [spoofing Snakes on a Plane] can't even quote the movie's famous line because Epic Movie is PG-13. So "motherfucker" is replaced by "goddamned" so the teenagers of this world can be protected from extreme profanity."
I think that pretty much sums up the idiocy of Epic Movie. They're spoofing a movie that has a rating above what their target audience can get into and they can't even do it right.
I could go on forever about how much I wish these movies would go away. Does anybody here actually like this trash?
