New Fable 2 concept art
Oh bliss! Bliss and heaven! Oh, it was gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. It was like a bird of rarest-spun heaven metal or like silvery wine flowing in a spaceship, gravity all nonsense now. As I slooshied, I knew such lovely pictures!
Alex may have known some lovely pictures, but I doubt that any were as lovely as this one. If the team over at Lionhead Towers are trying to make us drool with anticipation then they alone will be responsible for the shortage of Kleenex when they finally show us the real game in action.
Thankfully, Sam clears something up straight away: it’s a castle, in a city. Then he makes us quiver when he tells us that there is a chance of owning it. Not since the strongholds of Baldurs Gate II have such exciting dreams invaded our waking lives.

Fable 2 preview
Gamerzine 360, a free-to-download e-magazine, have given thier thoughts and impressions of Fable 2. It’s unclear whether they’ve actually played the game, but they say that it’s 60% complete and if you’ve been lax in following the updates since Fable came out a few years ago, it’s worth a read because it’s a great summary.
Fable 2 casts you as a highwayman (with the controversial introduction of firearms), rather than one of the yokels of the original RPG.
They’re not too clear about what’s controversial (Arcanum: Of Steamworks & Magic Obscura had a steampunk setting a long time ago), but it sounds fun nonetheless.

Peter Molyneux at the GDC
If you’re a big Lionhead fan then you probably also already know about Peter Molyneux giving a talk about Fable 2 at the upcoming GDC. Peter’s talks are usually exciting, witty and immensely enjoyable so we’re looking forward to seeing more about it.
This talk will centre around revolutions in Fable 2. This talk will examine how key game play elements have been refined and expanded. It will also look at what inspiration was drawn for the original game and what lessons were discovered.

A simple writeup on a trip to Lionhead
I left as quickly as I arrived and the worst part is that I thought that by going I will be satisfied… but it seems there is such candy at Lionhead, that now I just want to taste more (much more). But none the less, I had a great time at the one-on-one pub crawl, beer tasting at Sam’s place, and of course the countless free drinks one can have at lionhead. To top it all off, I even got to see Fable 2 - now isnt that something

Fable 2 Milestone: History
After lots of complaining and whining and panterig and trolling and all of that good stuff we are great at (not that it was the cause of this), Lionhead finally released a new milestone which will precede the GDC 2007 event which is coming up on February. This milestone is different than others seeing as this doesnt neccecarely give us much info on what has just been acomplished, but rather demonstrates the previous steps of how Fable 2 started and has evolved (up to a certain point).
As we do hone the Bowers Stone, to make a pretty sight
of docks and homes and cobble-stones, we only need the light!
Our characters, both his and hers, do also need this boon
for normal maps to shiny baps, when will it happen, soon?
The creatures sleep but soon will creep about the Brightwood soil
so don’t be miffed as teams will shift, once Damo’s had his toil…
Front end and Hud, stuck in the mud, but help is on the way…
while pretty sights and rare delights, will come on Sibbick’s day.
So don’t be scared of how we’ve fared, One day when we are stable
we’ll dazzle eyes and cause surprise, and you will know its Fable.
