Goodbye holidays and happiness.
Back to the grind.
Murder on the orient express
From C. Clore:
Im having trouble figuring out what to do next on the level when I gather all the clues in Mr. Ratchett's room. Mr. poirot keeps sending me back to that room but I have collected everything. Is it something to do with the window???????
Well I don't remember exactly, but I'd recommend flipping over every item in your inventory, which sometimes reveals clues. You'll need all those before Poirot lets you advance. I hope that helps.

bioshock
From jp:
are you guys going to make it for the ps3
No, jp. We, meaning IGN, are not making BioShock for PS3. Irrational, on the other hand, they might be. We'll have to wait and see.

Answer to Georges question on Ecco
From Ed:
This is in response to the question that George wrote in about a PC game that he had confused with Ecco. The game he is referring to is called EcoQuest: The Search for Cetus. It's an adventure game made by Sierra and plays like any one of their other adventure titles of the 90's. They made a sequel called EcoQuest 2: Lost Secret of the Rainforest. These were both great games from my childhood. I believe he wanted to play the games again. The game is not abandonware but he can find some info on the game at Home of the Underdogs(http://www.the-underdogs.info/). Unfortunately nostalgia is just a sentiment, and when I went back to play the game 14 years later I was bored and uninterested.
We got a bunch of emails about this, but yours happened to be the most informative. Cheers, sir.
Also I can totally see how George was confused in the first place. The similarities between an educational game emphasizing environmental protection and an action-adventure title starring and overly curious dolphin are truly shocking.

Warcraft delema
From Jake Brown:
I plan on buying the warcraft 3 battle chest and im wondering if i should play warcraft 3 without the expansion until i beat it or atleast get some experience, or should i install everything to begin with. I am new to warcraft and a novice when it comes to RTS`s if that makes any difference.
Depends on whether you're playing single player or multiplayer. You'll definitely want to try out some of the offline modes, either the campaign or some skirmishes against AI, to get used to each faction's strengths and weaknesses.
If you're playing for the story, definitely start with Reign of Chaos, otherwise you're in for some major spoilers. For online or offline skirmishes, I'd play Frozen Throne, just to get a handle on all the expansion's new units.
I haven't played WarCraft III in a long freaking time, but I'm pretty sure you can install both, then start either game by inserting the appropriate disc.

Cuss words on screenshot (r6 vegas: pc)
From Kevin Hebst
http://media.pc.ign.com/media/840/840185/img_4127880.html
this screenshot contains the fword.
Hmm, I see the words Outfitting, 552 Commando, Laser Sight, Frag Grenade...
Sorry Kevin, I'm just not seeing what you're talking about.
However, on this screen, there's the phrase "this crash is getting ****** old." While we appreciate the heads up on the curse word, Dan put that screen there for a reason. Specifically, because the crashes get ****** old.

Pony Luv
From Anne:
My mom and dad bought me Pony Luv for Christmas and we can't get it to work. Lostsocks is the company that you are suppose to contact for help except they don't help. Do you have any suggestions/contacts/phone numbers of someone that we can call?
thank you
Anne (6 years old)
Let me start off by apologizing to you, Anne. Not for anything specific, just because I'm embarrassed that you read this site. Also, you have surprisingly good grammar for a six year old. Some of our other readers should take note.
I haven't played Pony Luv, or any other of the Luv games, but I did find a bit of info. There's a patch available on Lost Socks' site, which might help you out. There are some contact numbers on the site as well. If you were savvy enough to email us, though, you've likely explored those options already. Unfortunately that's all the advice I have right now, so best of luck.
