About the Head-to-Head The main purpose of our Head-to-Head series is to arm you with enough information and facts for you to make an educated decision. Whether you agree with our overall recommendation or not doesn't matter as much as being able to make a decision of your own.

If you're at a conflict every time a game debuts on multiple platforms, this features is for you. The Head-to-Head series of articles cuts through all the different takes the editors have on games, compares the facts, and presents you with one uniform opinion on all the versions.

As a special benefit for our Insiders, we'll also be offering the occasional Video Head-to-Head. As it is often hard to imagine the differences between games -- especially the visual kind -- we thought it would be extremely beneficial for you to see the games you're interested in presented to you in video side-by-side comparison.

The 2007 edition of EA's unstoppable football franchise was released in August of this year on Xbox 360. As expected the game was visually stunning on next gen hardware. Now that the PlayStation 3 has finally hit retail we can take a look at how major cross platform releases like Madden compare on both Xbox 360 on PS3.
