    Apolyton has published the final part in a five-part serial with Big Huge Games Chief Executive Officer & Creative Director Brian Reynolds from ApolyCon `06 held in Timonium, Maryland this past July. In this concluding edition, Reynolds addresses the non-linear story elements in "Alpha Centauri" while comparing strategy games set in "reality" and "fantasy". Following a consideration of attitudes and actions influencing future in-game relations and
    events, he gives his closing remarks and says his farewells.

    "The Brian Reynolds Session" (Part 1/5)

    In this premiere edition of "The Brian Reynolds Session", Reynolds notes
    that while his wife was working on a teaching fellowship for a year in
    England, he worked extensively on Civilization II`s development. He
    reflects on his computer work prior to joining MicroPROSE as well as
    what genre of games he orignally worked on at the company. He observes a
    trend towards console over PC gaming, and comments on which genre he
    believes will keep the PC industry competitive. Further, he confirms
    working on a console project but cannot publicly discuss it at present.

    Apolyton Civilization Site (ACS) published the fifth in a ten-part serial entitled, "Three Men and a Victory" from 'ApolyCon '06'. Three representatives from Civilization IV developer Firaxis Games participated in a multiplayer tournament for the game. The game's Lead Designer Soren Johnson, fellow Designer/Programmer Jon "Trip" Schafer and Software Engineer Alex "alexman" Mantzaris went head-to-head with an on-looking crowd... and a camera documenting it all.
