Back to Hellfire v4.02 Update

Back to Hellfire reached version 4.02 after Onyx's latest update to the Patch 1.10 Lord of Destruction mod. The release enables the Barbarian character class and the second Act Five quest, adds a new level to Act Five, increases the Poisoned Water Supply quest's difficulty, and introduces a couple item and skill changes.

Mod Review: D2:Elements v1.01

The Phrozen Keep has a succinct new review of the D2:Elements mod for Patch 1.10 Lord of Destruction. Overall it is positive, and describes the mod as "carefully balanced and polished" but with a few shortcomings.
D2:elements is a heavily underrated, but quite well done mod. It doesn't change much skillwise, nor does it introduce new monster-gfx or other funky stuff. It changes the overall balance, items and the skillsystem, which leads to a much more polished gaming experience. It is working under 1.10.

Lament of Innocence v1.06 Alpha

Talonrage released a substantial update to the Lament of Innocence mod for Patch 1.10 Lord of Destruction, enabling all seven character classes, Assassin claw weapons, a new dungeon level, and new unique items.

Median 2008 v1.43 Update

Brother Laz updated the new Median 2008 mod for Patch 1.10 and Patch 1.11 Lord of Destruction with a new uberlevel and new unique items, runewords, and class-specific items.

Editorial: Woes of a Blizzard Fan

This Halloween, for those who celebrate, Planet Diablo examines the current state of affairs for fans of Blizzard Entertainment's games in a new editorial.

The brief article entitled "Woes of a Blizzard Fan" reviews the company's dedication to its hugely successful online subscription game, in the midst of the cancellation of its one unrelated project. The absence of a publicly announced project outside of the Warcraft franchise is thick in the proverbial air, and the article explores some reasons behind this.
