Planet Vampire now has it's own
YouTube channel! I know, welcome to 2005, right? PV's forums are full of talent and we aren't afraid to flaunt it. All but a few Bloodlines/Redemption videos from the forum have been gathered and broadcasted, along with a few vids from those who don't post here, giving due credit to their creators. Also added are a the "Swamped" video by Lacuna Coil and "Cain" by Tiamat. We have 27 videos as this is posted and more will be added soon!
Our YouTube link will also be located in the
Movies area, found on the left sidemenu.
We're in the beginning stages of getting this site moving towards the development of the announced WW/CCP game to be named later. Today was spent fixing all the old broken links in the Redemption area and also updating the staffing names for anyone who may have questions there. The
Community Links page has been updated but we would like to have more Vampire or WOD sites listed. If anyone would like a site added to our list please
contact me and we'll get it up ASAP!

I'm pleased to announce that our two long-time forum moderators Signothorn and Javokis (formerly known as Rainmoon) now have FTP access to the website and can post news articles, PotD entries, and more.
Also, it looks like there is a strong possibility that ForumPlanet will finally be migrating to a new forum system. I don't have a timeframe for this, but in recent email correspondence an IGN employee mentioned it twice in the past week.
Dr. Grout says: "This new feature is extremely complicated. Users with heart conditions or epilepsy are encouraged to speak with their physician before attempting such activities."

World of Darkness MMO in Development
Millions of players across the world have waited many years to hear these words, and in a recent press release we now know that White Wolf (creators of Vampire: the Masquerade and Vampire: the Requiem) and its new parent company CCP (creators of EVE Online) are jointly developing a massive persistent online experience set in the World of Darkness. For the vampire video game community this is without a doubt the single biggest announcement of the year, or even the decade. The PlanetVampire forum has a brand new section dedicated to the MMO currently in development.
We are currently experiencing some problems with the FTP server permissions on PlanetVampire, and they are preventing me from modifying the site's files. I can still manage news, which is run through news.gamespy.com, and the forum is fine because it operates off of www.forumplanet.com. As such, I will be unable to modify things like the "Tales from the Crypt" article above until we get this resolved. Thanks for your patience.

Wesp5 released the latest round of bug fixes and game enhancements in the
Bloodlines Unofficial Patch v3.1. Like all of the other unofficial patches, it requires the
official v1.2 patch in order to install properly.

I have been on a business trip for the last couple weeks, but in my absence IGN/GameSpy fixed their FTP service. We haven't had a Member of the Week for the last month simply because everybody I approached has been busy, or felt they had little to contribute, or any number of other reasons. So...if you want to be the next MotW, PM me with the following information:
