StarCraft 2 All but Announced 02:41 pm - Robert 'Apache' Howarth - Games: Real-Time Strategy (18 comments)
Tal met with Blizzard's Chief Operating Officer Paul Sams at the Leipzig Games convention who revealed the company is working on no less than three new titles at the moment.
"StarCraft is my absolutely favorite game of all time," Sams told us. "As you probably already know, there is no doubt that we will continue the StarCraft and Diablo franchise, and trust me, I will be the happiest person in the world when we announce StarCraft 2."

While Sams wasn't ready to spill the beans just yet, he did say Blizzard "will have a major product announcement in 2007," and that Blizzard was currently working on at least three other unannounced titles at the moment.

In Other News... 03:15 am - Robert 'Apache' Howarth - In-House: In Other News... (15 comments)
I actually had to do some work yesterday with all those Games Convention screenshots. Where has my peaceful Summer slackfest gone? I think we got most of the good ones already, but hopefully we'll see some new Crysis screenshots too. Not sure if Alan Wake is there or not, but that would be pretty hot also.

Today's question:

Do you think you'll be upgrading your video card when DirectX 10 comes out?

Kane Returns in Command & Conquer 3 04:20 am - Robert 'Apache' Howarth - Games: Real-Time Strategy (14 comments)
According to the latest intel, Kane is making his return to the C&C; universe in Command & Conquer 3:

As we feared, the self-proclaimed "Messiah" has returned--Kane in his truest and most powerful form…lives. The Brotherhood of Nod is sure to be reignited by their leader, and there is little doubt that the third Tiberium War will soon be upon us. The source ended with this quote:

"You cannot kill the Messiah"

Yo!

Today's question:

If you could remake any classic game with a current 3D engine, which would you pick, what would you change about it and why?
