Experience: Born in Boston, she came of age in New York where she was a part of the rap group Diva Symphony based in the South Bronx. After the group disbanded, she pursued a solo career that expanded into acting for television, film & theatre; this took her out to Los Angeles where she is currently recording and performing live at various venues. Education: She earned her B.F.A. from the Rhode Island School of Design and minored in English at Brown University.

From Ifè Oshun:  "As a rap/spoken word artist, I honor my roots by disseminating information in the tradition of the African griot, the cultural ancestor of modern Rap.  I choose to speak truth, point to the past as a way of shedding light on the present and do so with MAD FLAVA."
