...Letters about Halo 2, GTA: SA, more Halo 2, extra GTA: SA...damn! don't you ever think of anything else?

Halo 2. No Really, Halo 2
Hey, I come to this site alot whenever I need to know any info about games. I was just wondering about something that I wasn't able to find in any of the articles about Halo 2. Is there any word on Halo 2 being able to let you play Co-op online? Thanks for a response.

To my knowledge, there is regular two-person, offline co-op in the game. There is also the ability for four people to use one Xbox and split the screen four ways and play online. As for a two-player co-op online mode? Not sure.

Revolutionary
Doug-Yesterday you said that Halo was in no way revolutionary. You couldn't be farther from the truth! Doing everything right (which is pretty much what Halo did) is very revolutionary. It is rare for a game of that quality to come out.

I disagree. It's not. Some parts of it are certainly innovative, and have been copied (the two-weapon and one grenade system and the gunbutt move working so well in close combat), but it's ain't no revolution. It's just amazing that a game can be so super competent at everything, and it makes everything else look very incompetent. That's actually a really sad statement on everything else.

GTA: SA
I was wondering if Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is gonna come onto the xbox anytime soon. I'm thinking or purchasing a PStwo and GTA:SA but i dont wanna spend $200 when it comes onto the xbox in a few months. What do you think i should do?

Hm...Well, I asked Rockstar about this, and for the record, this is not the first time I have done this, but they WOULD NOT SAY. Shocking response, I know. But they're currently head deep in their game being stolen and hurled onto the Internet to care about whether it comes out on the Xbox anytime soon. My guess is that it's coming, either in March 2005 or fall 2005. But I reckon it's coming eventually.

Stiff Arm
Actually the stiff arm button can also be used to switch the ball to a different hand. Just press the stiff arm button lightly, like your doing a little juke, and the runner will switch the ball to his outside hand.

I know its early, but do you think that Iron phoenix will be worth the purcahse without XBL.

Honestly, I am no sure how well that game will be online or offline just yet. We haven't see a build that proves whether it's any good one way or the other. We will see it in about two weeks, and we'll let you know then.

Hey, can you tell us when you're allowed to tell us how good you think Halo 2 is? It's really not a big deal to me, I won't read your review when you post it, I'll wait until I've played through the single player, but I am curious to see what score you'll give it. -Uwe Warg
