October 19, 2004 - Turbine Entertainment Software Corp. today announced Asheron's Call 2: Legions, the first official expansion to the critically acclaimed MMORPG title.

Set for release in Spring of 2005, Legions offers an epic new story for AC2. Players will be called to aid the ancient race of Empyreans, powerful sorcerers whose return to Dereth is being thwarted by dark powers. What in the Empyreans' history should cause such opposition? That's a mystery which players will reveal in Legions.

The Empyreans will represent a new playable race in AC2. Players will also have the completely new continent of Knorr to explore, as well as a powerful new Hero System for players surpassing level 50. Legions also includes many more quests, new monsters, and new dungeons to explore.
