Well, this probably wont get posted in the mailbag but its worth a shot. I was just wondering why EA decided not to bring Burnout 3 to the GameCube. The first two were successful on the console, so why drop the best game in the series for the Cube? Now, I'm stuck and I have to go to Best Buy to play the game. Are there any plans to bring it to the Cube? I'm greatly dissapointed.

The only thing worse than not getting Burnout 3 is knowing that we almost did. Originally, Acclaim planned to ship the latest installment in the Burnout series on all three consoles.

However, EA stepped in and purchased Criterion (the game's developers) and sailed away with the series. According to EA, the reason why Cube owners have been utterly deprived of further Burnout love is due to Nintendo's lack of online support.

Which doesn't make much sense, seeing as Burnout 3 excels as a single-player title. Either way, EA's decision is certainly a financial one. Let's face it, third-party titles usually don't fly with Cube owners.

Any word on whether Capcom will be showing anything new on RE4 at the upcoming Tokyo Game Show? A new level? Trailer? Anything? Thanks.

I don't think so. Word from Capcom leaves us cold, with reports of the E3 demo once again making an appearance at the company's booth. Of course, there's always room for a few surprises. Right?

Sup, Matt. I just wanted to know what you think will be more likely as Game Of The Year, Halo 2 or MP2:E? I know they can't and shouldn't be compared, but everyone will undoubtedly compare them. I'm getting both (I also have an Xbox, I got it for free, lol), but Metroid Prime (my first Metroid game) made me understand how truly innovative, awe-inspiring and incredible MP is, and I can't wait for MP2:E. By the way, Frraaan Mira-ding-dong is infected with "Halo fever", not unlike "hype", and I suggest that you BURN him. Thanks!

Regarding your question, I think Halo 2 will emerge victorious in sales and tie MP: Echoes in the ratings wars. When it comes down to it, both titles will play as updates to their respective predecessors. Each merely builds on established success by sticking to their formulas. Halo 2 will boast a strong single and multiplayer experience focused on combat while Metroid Prime 2: Echoes will feature a wicked single-player experience focused on exploration. Combat or Exploration? I think we all know who will win this fight…

Fran Sucks, after the publish my letter because i insulted fran plea, i wanted to ask you something, was DBZ budokai 2, ever slated for a gamecube release? will it ever be? do you have any information on that? i hope that if you don't publish my letter at least answer me to my e-mail (and if you do publish it, e-mail me anywya so i geto to see my messenge on the QA ;)

I've decided not to edit the above letter in hopes of retaining the authoritative spirit buried in the message. As far as Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2, it is indeed headed for the Cube. While GameStop and other retailers have slated DBZ: B2 for release this December, Atari representatives have not given an official release date.

So I'm playing Pikmin 2 the other day and I enter an area called, "Awakening Wood." Lol... I couldn't stop laughing... Why didn't they just name it "Morning Hard-On?" Lol...

Personally, I didn't notice any phallic references in Pikmin 2. You should be ashamed of yourself. Honestly, who would notice anything other than a reference to the spiritual arousal of a large concentration of trees in "Awakening Wood?"
