Introduction
Few individuals
ever experience the exhilarating rush of plummeting a thousand feet towards the rocky pavement of New York's
city streets. Spider-Man is one of the few. How, you ask? The thing is, Spider-Man—Spider-Man—he
does whatever a spider can. Not some of the things a spider can—Spider-Man does whatever a
spider can. Does that mean he can swing from a thread? Why don't you take a look overhead.
Look Out! Here comes the Spider-Man!
Without getting too stupid (perhaps we already have), the point has to be made: in Spider-Man 2
you'll be challenged like never before. You'll have to quickly learn the instincts of a web-crawler as you're
sent lurching through the canopy of Manhattan's tallest buildings. Having trouble trouncing the hundreds of
baddies that are hell-bent on squashing the Spider-Man? IGN Guides is here to help you catch thieves just like
flies with:
Web Swinging School: Learn the ins-and-outs of master web-swinging—when we're done with you, no
enemy will be beyond your grasp.
Spider Battle Tactics: Special attacks, infinite combos, and every upgrade ranked and detailed.
Citizens in Distress Missions: Learn how to rescue all citizens in distress—save the
sinking skipper, and return the errant balloons to Manhattan's little girls!
Story Walkthrough: Each chapter broken down and detailed, every boss fight made easy.
Secrets: Find all hidden tokens with our map, and reach Liberty Island any time you want.

Strangely enough, it's actually pretty difficult to find a
good Spider-Man costume in the city. When I really got into Spider-Man 2 I absolutely had to suit up as
the Web Slinger to maximize my enjoyment. I may get strange looks in the office now, but I finally found a good
costume. I don't care that it's made for children—I still look good. In full Spider-Man costume, I've
become a champ at Spider-Man 2 and want to help you be like me.
