Lately I've been playing this game on my Zodiac (Palm powered PDA/game thingamajig) called Strange Adventures in Infinite Space, and am hooked on the damn thing. In some strange way, it reminds me of Star Control 2 and 3 (well, it doesn't have anything close to the depth as either). So, going back to those games (SC2 & 3), I started to wonder why there wasn't ever a 4, it really was a great series, although I know some that thought 3 was a bit of a departure from what made 2 so great, I thought both were fantastic. Seems like 4 was in development or something, then had the plug pulled, or publisher went broke, or something, if you recall what happened, drop me a line. So, back to what started me thinking about Star Control, if you have a Palm-powered PDA, try out the demo of Strange Adventures in Infinite Space, it's quite cool.

Since I didn't mention something at the time, if you missed it, Big Blue Box's RPG for the Xbox, Fable, has gone gold. If they were able to even get 5% of what they were attempting to, in the game, it is going to kick some serious butt, and after talking with a few who have had a chance to try it at various times during development, it sounds like they were able to get a lot more than 5% in there, so I have very little doubt that it's going to rock! This is one I've really been looking forward to -- and didn't lose any interest even with all the delays.

Oh, and thanks Robert, regardless of what anyone says, you're a stud ;) (seriously, thanks).

(Edit- If you missed it, check out Phil's blog for a sneak peak of BloodRayne in Playboy -- Eddie)
