The Heroes of Kohan II; Part 2
To help celebrate the heroes of the game, TimeGate has provided us with an overview of four of the game's heroes. Hey, it makes way easier reading than Thomas Carlyle or Joseph Campbell.
There are many ways in which one may be cursed; good fortune as well as ill can condemn a man. For the Kohan, immortal and yet subject to a death of memory, their nature has proven both blessing and bane. For without their great powers, victory over Ahriman and the Shadow would have proven impossible; yet those who need not fear death and yet cannot remember war's hard lessons will never know peace. And so, with Ahriman's passing, the Kohan created for themselves new wars, turning against one another in eternal battle. The truces and alliances of the great conflict collapsed, the prosperity promised by victory evaporated, and all across Khaldun, either by choice or necessity, weapons were taken up once more. And while brothers bleed on each other's blades, an ancient force, timeless in its malevolence and tireless in its patience, watches silently, knowing its hour is nigh.
