August 05, 2004 - Universal Home Video has officially announced Shrek 2 for release on November 5 for a suggested price of $29.99. Yes, November 5, a Friday. At this point, all we know is it will have a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer and Dolby Digital 5.1 audio.

There will also be a box set called Shrek: The Story So Far. It will contain the two movies plus a bonus disc for Shrek 2 and Shrek 3D. Suggested price will be $54.99.
