Doom 3

There's a locker with a BFG by I can't get it! help!

When roaming around delta4 you'll see a BFG encased inside a security office. The office is locked by a security code. I scoured practically every inch of that map but I couldn't find a PDA with the code. As a DooM fan of 10 years, I really wanted this gun so I tried all 728 (9^3) possible combinations until I got in. The code is 931. I hope this is helpful to somebody. Also, if someone knows where the code is supposed to be found in the game please let me know. Good luck and have fun.

You could have just listened to your PDA. Early in the game, one of the personel talks about security issues and the new and improved BFG. He states that the new security code is 901. If you read his e-mails, he gets one from base security that says they have changed all 0 in codes to 3. Sure beats trying every possible combination. with the exception of www.martianbuddy.com code (which is 0508 -Ed.), you can find every code for every locker within voice records or e-mail in your PDA.

Graphics card/Performance question. Well im ordering a 9800 pro and someone posted earlier that they had a problem with half black faces or somthing because the drivers that come with the card are out of date, and I will be unable to download the new ones till i get to college, is this a frequent problem? anyway how will the game run on my system: Pentium 4 I think 2.6 gig, 512 ram, 9800 pro. It will run very well with those specs, it will definetly look nice and run smoothyly. You can download the latest official drivers from ATI or get the 4.9 beta drivers (Note the Beta drivers are still untested -Ed.). I don't see why you don't download the driver now so you can install it once you get the card.

My doom 3 runs like crap. I have a pretty beafy rig here 2.4 gig p4, 1 gig ram, radieon 9800xt and i can only run 800 x 600 on medium and get about 30 - 35 fps what can else can I do to help me out I have the 4.9 drivers and it really didnt help that much. please help!! thanks

wait does your vid card have 128mb or 256? OK go to the doom3/base folder and create a text file and put this into it:

your computer is similar to mine so you can probably use my settings. now when you save it do save as and name the file "autoexec.cfg" and under save as type make sure it says "all files".

For weside00019: OK well most of those tweaks are basic stuff that everyone does so the only thing you have to change is the CacheMegs, it sould be set to maybe 1/4 or so of you total ram. so i changed that to 192.

As an off and on PC gamer, I should note that a PC game that "runs slow" will need to under go "streamlining" or "tweaking". One of the reasons why some console ports of PC games look crappier is that many of the tweaks that affect your perfomance is to simply reduce the amount of detail your PC needs to compute each second of the play session. You want fancy graphics? Then you ain't gonna play a smooth game. You want smooth frame rate? Then your details suffer. It's a simple case of allocating resources :-)

Is the XM8 (some new kinda gun as yet to be included in the current Jane's Small Arms) in Black Arrow?

The only new weapon is the SVD Dragunov, which replaces the Barret. It sports the same accuracy and damage rating (although it is not supposed to kill you in one hit anywhere on the body) but has reduced effective range (61 as opposed to 89). I assume the effective range is where the damage either tapers off or the bullet disappears completely, so no more walking around and BANG! You die. That only happens with the M203 now.

Bujingai The Forsaken City

I wanna know is there anyway to alternate the combos and such please help if possible

All the moves are covered in the tutorial (if you can sit through it). The thing about combos is that they can be interrupted and chained (via air hits) at almost any time. Air combos (SQUARE in mid-air) can be executed up to hit number 25, but can be extended almost indefinitely if another target (in mid-air) presents itself -- simply switch to the next target and the Chinese guy resets his combo limit. Note -- the more damage you do (via the power-up) the less combo hits you can do on Normal and Easy. For Hard and Super Hard, you'll need to do damage just to survive.

Dragon key? Where be that Dragon Key in level 5 Unholy Mountain?

After the turtle key, you have to go back threw the building, to the place with the pillars, there are two doors, when you came outthe first time to get the turtle key, you came out the right door, to get the dragon key you have to go INTO the left door. Get to the central platform wit the large pillar in the center, you have to run up it, launch jump off it heading to the left door , glide as soon as you come off the pillar and you should (after a ton of tries like i did), hit the corner of the block in fornt of the door, and go in, avoid the traps and cannon heads, and along the corridor is a pillar with the dragon key on top.

You have to stand in the middle of them and do the spin attack. If you are talking about the last four then switch your spell to the one you just got at that location and use it.

Cloud Sea help. I'm to the third area of the cloud sea. I can't glide out to the second floating rock. Anyone been there done it? Help

You should see little gongs floating in the air you are going to keep comboing them untill you get from one platform to the next...as long as you keep hitting it you will move forward and not fall

dss2015 mentions that Taito has an excellent FAQ for Bujingai and that they have videos on the hardest parts of the Cloud Sea stage. The FAQ is at http://www.bujingai.com/game/faq.html and you need to scroll down to Question 19, which translates roughly to, "How the hell do you make those krezzy jumps?" There are a half dozen videos there that shows you to key to "long-gliding" -- which is basically how to glide multiple times in the air (although you constantly lose altitude). Do "long-gliding" by pressing SQUARE once without targetting anyone (or you change direction) so you can press CROSS to glide again in mid-air (normally you can only glide once). This kinda answers one of my questions about a spell in the Unholy Mountain as well. Thanks, dss2015.

Harry Potter 3 help on the part when you have to save Neville, and ur trapped in a room, and the ghouls are there, how come when i use lumos at them and use flipendo to kill them how come they dont die? i killed the ghouls but they keep coming back, where do I aim lumos at?

OK the gouls well their invisible right so use lumos to make them visible while their visible use flipendo and that will kill them man good luck with the game i am a huge harry potter fan it took me 13 hours to finish the game its extremly cool but challenges so go have some magical adventures

Wallace and Gromit

Im playing this game on gamecube and have reached an impasse in world2. i have accumulated all tools and wish to repair generator requirng 9 tools however when calling wallace to fix the generator i get varying responses indicating that no wallace is forthcoming.this is a $40.00 game and if it has a glitch in level 2 it is hardly worth the money. please advis on how i can get past this as i have spent hours without progress in this spot.

Ratchet and Clank

Please help. Bought PS2 bundle which came with Ratchet & Clank. The game froze up whenever a certain level was reached. Returned the game to the retailer and exchanged it for a new one. The new game is freezing up at the exact same point. PS2 is operating normally with every other game. Whom can I contact? Navigating this site for a phone number was living hell. Finally found a phone number and was told to send an email. Tried to send an email and there was no subject line for Ratchet & Clank game. Who may I contact to receive assistance? Your PS2 seems to be new (it comes with the Network Adapter) so it should be working. However, given that two copies of a new game are forked up, you may be the proud new owner of a defective PS2. Test out your son's second copy on a friend's PS2 and see if it gets stuck again, if not your PS2 may be slightly impaired. You can use stand it vertically to play the game and see if that helps, although it is a last resort. Please call Sony's Customer Service line to see if they can inpsect your PS2 at no charge -- most manufacturer warranties are good for up to 90 days in most U.S. states.

And The Rest ...

Hey, Thanks for taking the time to look at this email. I'm having a real problem, so I'm hoping this can help. I bought a Naki G-pak for my gamecube from Gamestop.com a few months. In the IGN.com review, and in other reader reviews and descriptsion of the g-pak, it was said that the g-pak is supposed to come with removable strips of padding on the inside of the case. However, this did not come with my case. I tried contacting Naki and Gamestop, but I have not received any answer from either. I was just curious if somebody knew if Naki decided to sell them without these strips of padding, and they were only in the model sent to IGN.com, or if there is something wrong with my g-pak. Please, help! It would be greatly appreciated.

The straps are fairly immobile in the Xbox version I have. If you do not have any similar straps in your Cube pack, take it back to the store and exchange it.
