I saw that Steve was chasing an Eidos lady at E3. Did he hook up with her? As for that, did anyone from IGN hook up at E3?

Heheh. I'm actually married, so any chasing I do is purely ceremonial in nature. Now that's not to say that the Eidos PR types (men included) aren't worth being lecherously run down by the IGN boys but, as for hooking up, it just ain't happening. My wife won't let me.

But that doesn't mean that others didn't take advantage of their own opportunities. Dan and Tal left a party together the first night of the show and showed up the next day with a certain sparkle. Also, I think Tom hooked up with himself.

C'mon, this game has been out in Europe for awhile. It sucks. It is a cheap Sims rip off with some lame gimmicks attached. You should either import the game from Europe or just simply realize that the game is subpar and there isn't some miracle patch or any last minute coding that will change that.

I have played the game. It is simply another POS a la BMXXX. Report on games that are actually reported to be good.

Mco Hasn't been givin it's Due From the reviews.. TO understand how great mco was you had to experiance it for yourself.

Many are working on mods and memorial games with the ideas of mco in mind yet to no prevail as anything came close to Mco.

Ea Was Even Offered Free Unlimited Use OF Several Servers to run the game Online once again with Permission to charge the monthly bill for its use by the players... yet Ea Still Refused.. All i am asking on the behalf Of Mco Players Everywhere Is WHy DId Ea Actually CLose Mco DOwn ...?

FS:NA's release date has come and gone. When I asked about it at my local computer store I just got a blank look. Their website has nothing useful either. MOO3 sucked and all the previews I read on FS:NA looked like the next space 4X game worth playing. Is this thing coming out or is it gonna be another vaporware thing that never happens?

According to Matrix Games, as of about a month ago, things were at a standstill but not officially shelved. Sounds like it's on life support at the moment.

I have reached the point in university where I really don't know what to do and am kind of looking for a way to make my current path the best i can. I am in second year computer science because I wanted to do game programming and then make my way into design from there. But I find that though I'm good at programming out of all my classes I hate programming classes the most. Now, I really do want to be a designer, but I wonder as to what kind of background companies look to in designers, like the people that actually get hired. I'm asking all around the place, but I figured you guys would have a good insight into what really goes down since you have close contact with developers. Well, it would mean a lot to me if you could respond with some kind of insight because I think I'm gonna get shafted if I stay in programming much longer. Well, thanks for your time ( assuming you read this:))

We've heard that being a playtester is a good way to get in on the ground floor. Unfortunately, this means living near the development house so you can pop over when they want you to check out something they're working on. You won't be able to walk in the door with a great idea, even laid out in a well-written design doc, because great ideas don't necessarily mean you're going to have good communication skills, decent hygiene, or a solid work ethic, all of which are essential when working long-ass hours, shoulder-to-shoulder with very busy people.

With all the E3 hype about Doom 3 and HL2, I think one truly awesome game may have slipped through the tracks. Where's the coverage on Operation Flashpoint 2?. To this day, I can still be found on GameSpy playing the original three or four times a week. It was without a doubt my favorite shooter of all time. My favorite game of all time, for that matter. Yet I have heard nary a word about the sequel on IGN. If there isn't any new information on please make some up. If they've cancelled it or it's not looking like its going to see the light of day please find this out. I need my OFP2 news!

OPF2 is scheduled for a late 2004 release, and we hear it's coming along nicely. In all seriousness, expect to see some more coverage this summer. By the way, you wouldn't happened to be related to Sasquatch, would you? If so, tell him to gimme back my copy of Debbie Does Des Moines.
